I have been doing paper since 1987, in a very slow way,,,through proyects I have installed the first papermill into an art department at the University, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, in Mendoza from all Argentina. I create many artworks, for exhibitions and competitions.
In this moment we are working to make washi paper from local plants with very good results.
I am teaching papermaking and printmaking. at the University since 1990 until today.
I love to work in large forms made on paper from rags and other plants. My idea it is to eliminate totally any chemicals in the process, through studies we arrived that ashes from wood are the best way to cook the plants. No toxic elements. Also I am improving the japanese printmaking over our washi paper.
