Restorer of ancient drawings, Paola Lucchesi after having teached for many years at the Istituto per l'Arte e il Restauro "Palazzo Spinelli" in Florence, now is teaching ancient paper restoration for international trainings programs.
Since 1992 she researches basing on the reclamation of materials (reclycled paper, vegetal fibres) which are being transformed through different techniques for the making of handmade paper, thus becoming paintings, sculptures and installations. Paola Lucchesi works in collaboration with different schools and art institutes with projects of handmade paper production as well as the making of paper constumes. She has also exhibited in a one-man and in several exhibitions.
