fardel (a Shakespearian term for bundles or burdens), references carrying the burdens of Covid, remnants of burning forests and instability of global political/eco systems. Roughly hewn, they remind me burdens can be dark, heavy, and sometimes colorful & light. fardel enjoys holes to help lighten the load and allow darkness to escape. string weaving poured pigmented pulp; indigo dyed paper thread; dyed jute wrapping

no right angles: 7 hanging kinetic sculptures are an interpretation of brain neurons losing connections due to plaques of Lewy Body Disease. They are lyrically shaped and dance in the wind. Just like the architecture of my dear friend who suffered from Lewy Body, the sculptures and the disease have no right angles
