Anthony Uchenna Nsofor is a chemical engineer and paper artist, working at the intersection of material innovation and craft through Udiri (formerly IlekeCo). His paper-led jewellery practice transforms reclaimed paper into hand-rolled, hand-painted beads, assembled into lightweight, tactile pieces designed for continuity. Much of this work is created in collaboration with refugee and displaced women artisans through a buyback model that supports sustainable income and skill. The practice explores connection: how repetition becomes strength, how material can hold memory, and how overlooked resources can become timeless objects you live with—carrying story, resilience, and conscious design.
