Carole Bury designs and crafts paper textiles, using embroidery and constructional techniques, which have a beauty, depth and quietness.
Working in landscapes, she is presented with rhythms, pathways and marks, and they invade the work slowly and unobtrusively. Walking through the fields and woods in the Cotswolds, South West United Kingdom, where she lives, is guaranteed to reveal geological treasures, fossils and rich landscapes.
Carole studied art at Cheltenham College of Art and Fine Art Embroidery at Manchester Polytechnic.
