When I discovered paper making I'd found a medium through which to share my emotions with the plant world with others. Creating a bond with nature allows me to investigate the materials in different ways; helping me to address organic shapes, textures and colours of nature, whilst at the same time addressing environmental issues too. My inspiration comes from everything that I perceive, usually amazed by the beauty There are so many shapes, colours and textures.
My work is natural, organic, not polished.
My art works are e made, totally with oriental plant fibers (lokta, mitsumata, Gampi ,konzo..) among others, whose objective is to express the free beauty that is not prey to fixed ideas with an aesthetic purpose using the artistic role as a vehicle. Its realization in a wet way gives it an almost spiritual character since it recalls the elaboration of the traditional Japanese "washi", incorporated in the western way."
