PaperArt

I am fascinated by the sculptural potential of paper.

My practice explores the intersection of art, urban gardening, and eco-philosophy, with a focus on the beauty of decay and disintegration. One of my interest lies in the space between textile and paper, experimenting with processes that transform recycled paper to textile like materials.

Recently I started to make paper from mushrooms, specially polypores, using an ancient Chinese papermaking technique.
I often allow the pulp to dry naturally, embracing its organic transformation into sculptural forms without interference. This act of surrendering control reflects my broader artistic philosophy: collaboration with nature, rather than domination.

The resulting works are tactile, abstract forms that evoke the natural world—trees, fungi, and the structures of life. My approach combines traditional papermaking with contemporary experimentation, offering new perspectives on materials, transformation, and our relationship with the environment.
