The fascination of weaving is that there are so many facets in technique and choice of material.
I like the challenge of the restriction of the weavingloom in my experiments with a warp and weft.
It is exciting to work with unusual materials, such as paper,copper- and silver wire,bamboo and so on
combining them to create other forms of expression.
Special paper is my favorite material and I have been using this in all my fabrics for several years.
I used all kinds of existing papers but I also create my own paper, so I have control of the entire process of my work.
I find my inspiration from my travels and from the involvement with issues that affect me emotionally.
