My mixed media paintings incorporate diverse handmade papers in them - I love texture and the fabulous papers I have found add an extra dimension and layering to the works. I have recently used wonderful handmade vegetable papers which create another visual experience. I also sometimes include fabrics and ribbons. All of my paintings arise from a spontaneous intuitive process influenced by nature, connections and the love of the materials.
