Bio:
Borned in Veracruz México.
Cofounder of the paperki workshop 1983. designing, experimentation and production in handmade paper and paperart made from linen, cotton, and musa textilis fibers,
Working for the best artist like Eduardo Chillida, Esteban Vicente, Manolo Valdez, among others. Individual and collective exhibitions and participating in ART-Fairs.

Studies: Bachelor degree in Graphics and textil design. Iberoamericana University in México D.F.
Teaching chair and Workshops of Graphics and textil design.
Coordination and chair textil design. Research and advisor in posgraduate fibers theme for industrial design. Universidad Autónoma de México.

I consider paper as non won-woven fabric , it always forms a network as a support, communication, relation, etc.
The infinite possibilities of the material making my own from linen and abaca fiber. Each fiber inits manufacturing process reflects personality and uniqueness, that let me make something like letters for making words sentences poetry.
passion for the material that is so special when dry that is like an haiku (unrepeatable),is the expression of the material itself.
