I work mainly with paper and barkcloth. All the paper beads that make up the works of Art, are hand rolled from printed magazines and other discarded paper. Within these pages are words and images, rolled, transformed to create small beaded sculptures. I see these small art works in themselves as talismans, holding magical powers of color, words that I use to create much bigger art works. I do not ignore thetransformation that paper has gone through from Trees to Print and return on Barkcloth as

artworks forever their resting place.
