SHabnam MK. is an Artist from Germany with a background in Engineering and Design. Art has always been her passion and a part of her life. From childhood (during every school holidays) until University Graduation, she has learned many fine Art Techniques including portrait drawing, colored pencil, watercolor and oil painting with various Artists. Then she practiced and experimented with different Materials and Techniques until she found a new Paper Art Technique, which she is currently writing a Book about it. As she loves nature, she has focused primarily on upcycling/recycling Art for the past few years. Therefore, she creates Collages, Assemblages, Mixed-Media and Objects from upcycled/recycled Materials especially waste Paper that are collected in household. She hopes that her Artworks will bring attention of viewer to the topic of the environment and sustainability. With each artwork, she wants to emphasize that everyday paper,plastics and metal can be reused, thus embodying a lasting life and offering countless possibilities. She believes that such Artworks can be a Resonance to inspire reflection and creative endeavors for the responsibility of each individual and also visualize the impact of each person as a sustainable consumer. Recently, she won two awards in the Swiss Recycling Art Competition 2023/2024.
