Seeing what is already known in a new way, in another context, causes strangeness and can allow for a more conscious and consequently more critical visual perception. I believe that this critical stance is fundamental in our actions as consumers and in the exercise of citizenship.
I use icons from the history of art, personalities from history, politics, common to all people to propose a more critical reading of our reality. I appropriate these images and create pictorial interventions or graphics that have a strong symbolic charge. Thus, the appropriate image with a new symbolic charge creates a field of strangeness, a possible new reading, a doubt.
