For many years I have been working intensively on the creation of worlds of memory, which are expressed both as paintings and as objects made of various materials such as paper, wood and clay. My works on paper in particular have recently gained in importance and enable me to create fascinating three-dimensional works. These works are often characterized by social themes that may seem critical at first glance and deal deeply with the lives of people in our society.
Although many of my artworks are inspired by the beauty of nature, a central focus remains the examination of human nature. So there are works that explicitly correspond with nature and are also placed there by me. The question of what spaces create memories, emotions, encounters and experiences is at the heart of my work. Each piece is an invitation to reflect on our own existence, on connections and on what holds us together as human beings. In this form of art, I strive to convey a sense of the imperishable and the fleeting moments of life. Ultimately, it is these memories and emotions that form the basis of my artistic work and inspire reflection.
