Heike Berl is a visual artist working in drawing, pulp painting, printmaking and sculpture. She lives and works in Dresden, Germany, and exhibits internationally. Heike Berl studied and graduated at the Dessau University of Applied Sciences, the Munich Academy of Fine Arts and the Dresden University of Fine Arts. She has received grants and fellowships by the Munich House of Artists Foundation, the Steiner Foundation, the City of Dresden and the Verein für die Schwarze Kunst to complete residencies at the Lithographic Academy in Sweden as well as European graphic workshops and museums.
