I am a migrant artist with a soul of many origins. I explore the places where roots meet, and where all space – or belonging – becomes one.
I am looking for the Identity that brings us together.
From Bénin to Québec via Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion, my journey has naturally brought me to question my identity.
I choose to belong to the Earth that welcomes me – the Earth where I make my commitment, here and now.
I am inspired by animist cultures because they emphasize the sacred dimension of Nature and the interdependence that links us to the rest of creation.
This connection to the Earth, the one and only place I inhabit, has finally created a link between African and Amerindian cultures.
They are combined in a vision opposed to territorial belonging – for we are only passing through.
