The recurring theme is time.Breaking free from chronological time, which we have collectively coordinated and used worldwide since 1884, and ending up in 'duration time' as the French philosopher Bergson described it: Being in harmony with ourselves and the physical world around us. Seeking connection through there
to be in the middle. Experiencing unity. The current situation is always new, but roots in previous situations and grows into future ones. It's a fluid movement.
.
The work is created, among other things, by taking fixed patterns as a starting point, moving along and ultimately arriving at an unexpected place. This is how the series: Killing Time and the resulting series: Timelines (against the direction) and Just a moment in time (accumulation) were created. Projects such as Pink Seagulls were also made in this 'time zone'.

Pink seagulls is a project of 580 paper seagulls, which represent 580 days of pregnancy, two colors, two boys. The red/orange button is a symbol for attraction and the focal point where the nutrition can be found. Making the birds is a process hold on, move along and finally let go.The fragility of the material used isa conscious choice.
